Our Story
Sojourner’s Bridge began as a burden God gradually placed on the hearts of a father and his son-in-law. Though their backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives were different, God was cultivating in both of them a similar desire: to see people connected to meaningful discipleship, authentic community, and opportunities to grow in their faith.
Over time, God began opening their eyes to needs that existed not only across nations, but also within the communities surrounding them. Through personal experiences, ministry involvement, and opportunities to serve others, they became increasingly aware of the challenges many people face in finding support, mentorship, purpose, and lasting community.
What started as conversations, prayer, and a shared burden gradually developed into a larger vision. They recognized that many individuals and ministries possessed valuable gifts, resources, and opportunities, yet often remained disconnected from one another. At the same time, many people searching for direction, growth, and meaningful involvement struggled to find clear pathways forward.
As they continued to seek the Lord together, a vision began to emerge: creating connections that bridge the gap between people, resources, and opportunities while helping cultivate communities shaped by a Biblical worldview.
Throughout 2023, that vision was refined through prayer, discussion, mentorship, and the wisdom of others whom God brought alongside the journey. What began as a simple idea gradually developed into a clearer understanding of the role Sojourner’s Bridge could play as a connecting hub—bringing together individuals, ministries, resources, and opportunities in ways that encourage growth, discipleship, and meaningful transformation.
In October 2023, Sojourner’s Bridge was publicly introduced through the launch of its website. Since then, the ministry has continued to grow and mature through the establishment of governance structures, the formation of a Board of Directors, and the development of a long-term vision for the future.
Today, Sojourner’s Bridge remains committed to its mission of Mobilizing, Mentoring, and Multiplying—trusting God to direct each step as the vision continues to unfold in His timing.
Our Biblical Foundation
Sojourner’s Bridge is a Christian organization whose vision, mission, and governance are rooted in a Biblical worldview. While we may collaborate with a variety of organizations, ministries, churches, businesses, and community partners on projects of mutual benefit, our identity and guiding convictions remain grounded in the teachings of Scripture.
